Bear-oween

The whole month of November has been seasonally warm. We took Harry outside to experience the leaves. Not quite sure what he thinks of this.

Maybe these are okay.

He kind of got into throwing some of them.
He really enjoyed it when Nate picked him up and swung him in and out of the leaves.

This is lots of fun!
After scattering all those leaves, Harry is ready to get back to work and rake them back up again. We should've gotten him his own small rake.
Having fun on dad's shoulders and getting a nice picture of the white birch.

Checking them out once again, just to see if they're still all crunchy.
And now for Halloween...
Since we call Harry Bear for a nickname, we just had to dress him up as a bear for Halloween. All the family came over to see him dressed up and he was really excited, so we didn't get that many pictures where he was holding still. He was really excited about all the people coming to the front door. Here he is ready to go out and try this himself! First we've got to get your shoes on...
Our little Bear.

Heading to our first house. He took off down the sidewalk like he knew what we were doing.

Really enjoying the chance to walk around outside at night. He'd probably like to do this every night.

Harry carried around my old pumpkin from when I was a child. I wrote my name on it in permanent marker (backwards) when I was about five. His favorite part about the whole thing was taking the pieces of candy from people and dropping them in the bucket.

Once we got home he enjoyed looking in his bucket to see what he had.

Getting his first taste of chocolate. He also had a bit of a sugar rush that night. I think he had lots of fun and would probably enjoy doing this more often. We'll all have to wait another year!
